Directions to King Buffet
Saturday night Dinner: Jan 17, 7:30 PM

King Buffet is in the neighboring city of Visalia CA. It's a little over 20 miles away but well worth the trip. There are several ways to get there, depending if you'll be leaving from the airport or your hotel room.

From 198, head east to highway 99. At this point you have 2 options; continue east to Mooney Blvd., and turn south (right) on Mooney Blvd., or enter 99 south and exit at Caldwell, and turn east (left). Please see the map below to see how this makes sense.

From the Hanford airport you can go north and catch 198 east and follow the directions above, or head south to Houston and turn east (left).  Once established on Houston, the name will change to Caldwell at the county line.

No matter which way you choose, the object is to arrive at the intersection of Mooney and Caldwell. If heading south on Mooney, you'll be making a u-turn once you get to Caldwell. If heading east on Caldwell, turn north (left) on Mooney.

Once northbound on Mooney, get in the right hand lane, as you'll be turning in to a shopping center driveway on your right,  just past the stop light. You'll be turning just before a Long John Silver's fast food restaurant.  The sign for King Buffet is low and in the grass right after the driveway. King Buffet is all the way at the back of the shopping center, facing Mooney Blvd.

If it helps at all, the address is 3254 South Mooney Blvd.

The map above is NOT TO SCALE It's at least 12-18  miles from 10th Ave (Hanford airport) and HWY 99

The map below is a detail of the intersection of Mooney and Caldwell. The star represents the restraint. Mooney Blvd. is depicted as Highway 63
